Ashley Odom comes to us with over 25 years of dance experience. She has spent the last 6 years working with the Festival Ballet as a rehearsal assistant to Mr. Valiev and as production stage manager for The Nutcracker. Prior to coming to DBA, Ashley coached and choreographed for an award winning competition dance team. She has spent the last 7 years teaching ballet, jazz, contemporary, and acro for another local studio and is honored to be teaching at DBA in a formal capacity this season.
Ms. Odom grew up in a military family and was privileged to have received her formal dance training and performance opportunities all over the country to include most notably Ballet Virginia and Nevada Ballet Theatre. She graduated high school from The Las Vegas Academy of the Arts where she studied dance and theatre and went on to to graduate from University of Nevada- Las Vegas majoring in communications and journalism with a minor in dance.
Ashley is thankful for the support of her husband, four children, and Mr. Valiev as she dives back into her passion of teaching, and sharing dance with the next generation.
