Over the years, Reece competed in various regional dance competitions, winning awards for solos, duets, turn technique, and choreography.  Her training at DBA earned her invitations to multiple prestigious ballet intensives and training programs, including Gelsey Kirkland, Bolshoi, Kirov, and scholarships to Joffrey Ballet School, and she twice had the opportunity to represent DBA at YAGP in both ballet and contemporary.  In addition, her many years of training included summer intensives under the direction of renowned instructors, including Era Jouravlev and Jennifer Austin. This year, Reece will celebrate her 17th year performing with Festival Ballet of North Central Texas in their annual production of The Nutcracker. She has been honored to perform many featured roles in the production, including Clara, Dolls, Lead Chinese, Icicle, Petal, and Lead Spanish, as well as to serve as a rehearsal assistant. Reece is forever grateful for her experiences at Denton Ballet Academy and is excited to carry on the legacy of the studio with future generations of students. This year, she will be teaching Level IV Pre-Pointe, and levels IV, V, and VI of Theatre Jazz and Modern.
