Reece Domingue

Instructor

Reece Domingue has 19 years of dance training in various styles and is a graduate of Denton Ballet Academy. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Accounting and minoring in Dance at the University of North Texas. She previously served as Director of the North Texas Emeralds dance team and is the founder of Studio D Dance Company.

During her time as a student at DBA, Reece was accepted into multiple prestigious ballet intensives and training programs, including Joffrey, Gelsey Kirkland, Bolshoi, and Kirov, and she twice competed at YAGP in both ballet and contemporary. In high school, she served as Jr. Lieutenant and then Captain of her drill team and graduated valedictorian. Both in high school and beyond, she has competed at various regional dance competitions, winning awards for solos, duets, turn technique, and choreography.

In addition, Reece is celebrating her 14th year dancing with Festival Ballet in their annual production of The Nutcracker; she has been honored to perform many featured roles in the production, including Clara, Dolls, Lead Chinese, and most recently, Lead Spanish. Since graduation, Reece has enjoyed sharing her passion for dance by working as an independent dance instructor and choreographer, and she is thrilled to be back “home” this season teaching Modern, Theatre Jazz, and Adult Ballet/Jazz at DBA.
