Elise Benda has been dancing competitively since the age of two. She began training at Illuzion Dance Company before continuing her dance education at Mpact Dance Company, where she trained for nearly a decade and developed a strong technical foundation across multiple styles.
In high school, she became a member of the Forney Highsteppers and eventually earned the title of Captain. During her leadership, she guided the team to a historic achievement, their first-ever NDA Nation Championship win in the Medium Varsity Game-Day category. In addition to this milestone, she received prestigious individual honors, including the NDA Excellence in Leadership Award and NDA All-American recognition.
Throughout her training, she has mastered a wide range of dance styles, including ballet, contemporary, pom, jazz, and hip hop. She continued her competitive dance career at the collegiate level , dancing for the University of North Texas in the D1A division in both pom and jazz at the Collegiate NDA National Championship.
She now proudly dances for Texas Women's University as a member of the Pioneer Pride Dance Team. This season, she will compete in Daytona, Florida, in the D2 pom and spirit rally categories at NDA Nationals. She continues to pursue excellence in both her performance and leadership and is passionate about sharing her love for dance with others.
