Kira Berman has been dancing at Denton Ballet Academy for over 10 years. She has studied ballet, tap, character dance, modern, pointe, theatre jazz, and hip-hop. Kira has also participated in the Festival Ballet production of The Nutcracker for 9 years and she has performed several solo and demi-solo roles including Clara's Friend, Chinette, Reed Corps, Ballerina Doll, and Cat Doll. She has attended the Joffrey Ballet Academy summer intensive and has also participated in the Denton Ballet Academy summer intensive under the training of Era Jouravlev and Jennifer Venable Austin. Though her main passion is for dance, Kira has also been an intern at CYT Dallas for their summer camp program. She currently attends Founders Classical Academy of Corinth where she holds the officer position of Historian in NHS and she has previously been a part of her school cheer team for two years. Kira can't wait to teach this year and share her passion for dance with everyone!
